Sealing performance test method——
Test device: A special gasket comprehensive performance test device is used, including a loading system, a medium supply system, and a leak detection system. The volume of the leak detection cavity must be strictly calibrated, and the leakage rate measurement resolution must not be less than 10⁻⁵ cm³/s.
Test steps——
Preload stress loading: Set the preload stress according to the type of Corrugated Metal Gaskets (such as ≤35MPa when the loading speed is 0.2MPa/s), and keep it for 15 minutes to simulate the actual installation conditions.
Media pressurization and leak detection: The test medium (such as nitrogen or helium) is introduced, and the volume leakage rate is calculated by the pressure change of the annular leak detection cavity.
High temperature and high pressure environment simulation test——
Device design: Use a high temperature furnace with a pressure-resistant container, the temperature range can reach 900°C, and the pressure simulation is up to 350 bar (5,076 PSI).
Key parameter control: temperature fluctuation must be ≤±2%, pressure sensor error must be ≤0.5%, and material creep and elastic recovery performance at high temperature must be monitored in real time.
Compressive strength and resilience: Compression test is performed using a universal tensile testing machine, with a loading speed set to 10mm/min, compression force and deformation rate recorded, to evaluate the structural integrity of the gasket under high pressure.
